No.7 Pore Vacuum Mask

Well Girls....
We just happened to stroll into Boots on pay-day last week, as you do!!
I know!! We can't help it but we are just trying to find the best bargains for our readers right!!??!!!
We were actually looking for the new BB lips by No.7, but it totally slipped our minds when we got chatting to the girls on the counter! They were so nice and friendly we were very impressed!!
Going out of their way to help us, they offered some samples!! Which was really great as it's very important to test the product before purchasing!!!

We got two samples, one to be No.7 Day Cream the other a Pore Vacuum Face Mask!!!!

So we are going to totally rave about this Pore Vacuum Mask and just had to do this blog focusing on it!!!
If you suffer from obvious pores on your face especially around the T-zone area this mask is amazing!!!! And we mean AMAZING!!!

It says apply the mask in these areas only, but we were feeling a little dare devilish and applied all over!! (wasn't a good idea after) lol!!!

It is recommended to use it one or twice a week to cleansed, dry skin. Apply to nose and forehead and let in dry. When it's dry gently peel it away!!!

We have to say it is very intense and we applied it all over the face, so when we were removing the mask it was a little painful and we ended up gently washing part of it off with a facecloth, but the results we VERY VERY effective!!!!!
Our skin was completely flawless after and we could actually see the old dead skin had disappeared!!!

This mask is so fantastic and thanks to our "stroll and chat"  we ended up with a little winner!!! See girls don't be afraid to ask!! Never know what you'll find!!!

Costing €18.25  in BOOTS!! We checked the website and searched for it but it doesn't seem to be available, so maybe pop in to one of your local stores! We got this one in Jervis City Centre!!!

Happy Happy Bloggers with clear skin ;) !!

Our first try at BB Cream

Well Girls as you know we are all about full coverage here so we were a little sceptical when it comes to BB creams.... But low and behold it was a surprise!!!

We just happened to test this BB cream by chance as one of our VII Mama's appeared with it!! And seeing as she is a Nivea lover, this was the very one we had the pleasure of trying!
Available in two shades "light" and "medium to dark"  We had to check it out!

Using the shade Medium with it's full coverage and warm tones it really looks great on the face. We were impressed to say the least!!
It's 5 in 1 Blemish balm boasts...
  • smooth skin, to refine pores
  • covers small blemishes like bumps, spots and even wrinkles
  • protects the skin with SPF against the sun
  • perfects and illuminates the complexion naturally
  • and provides the skin with long lasting moisture
It is lovely upon application and reminds us of a light foundation. We however recommend this for someone with dry skin as it's very moisturizing and on oily skin tones it tends to become shiny.

The medium is quite dark so an olive skin tone really suits and for the light shade this is ideal for a paler skin tone.

Over all we are very impressed and if you are addicted to full coverage we recommend this for day to day and maybe a heavier brand for night time.

Please try it out girls and tell us what you think. We loved it!!!

€7.99 available in Boots

Mac Lash Bar

We've all been there...You've spent ages on your makeup for that 'Big Night Out'...You go to put some falseys on and it all goes to pieces!

It's either you cut them to short, they don't stick or start coming up at the ends...either way it sometimes can be a nightmare! Well we at VII are here to banish your lash woes and make sure that never happens again!! We are delighted with the news Mac have launched there very own Lash Bar located in Brown Thomas, Grafton Street!

For no further charge than the cost of the lash set (prices vary depending on how dramatic you want to go) you can get your set professional applied and have perfect peepers for your night on the tiles...No Stress!

We think this is a great idea if you find applying lashes difficult as you will definitely pick up some pointers! Also Mac lashes are re-usable so you can use and practice again and again!

Now all you need is a special occasion to wear them too...

Funky Fun ITATZ (Eye Tattoos)

So Girls..... you want to funk it up for festival season????
Here is an awesome, edgy way to do it and really fun!!!

We got these amazing ITATZ in a tattoo parlour in london but we will put the link below as to where they come from and you can purchase them online!!
Link >>> ABX Beauty

Definitely worth checking out if you are a little daring little devil!!!

Simply do your MakeUp as normal! Foundation, Powder all the works! We think it's a good idea to use a bright colour on the eyelids because when you transfer the ITATZ onto them it will show through and look extra cool!! They is perfect for the summer festivals you ladies will be attending and will definitely make you stand out from the crowd!

If  you just want the transfer of the ITATZ pattern you could add a strong lip as we have done in pictures below. We thought this cool look worked well together and had a lot of fun creating it!!

They are pretty easy to apply, just cut them to the shape you desire stick them on your eyelid and apply a little water.  The paper eventually slides off and you are left with this gorgeous pattern on the lids.

Now when we were taking these off it doesn't come so naturally!! It's says use baby oil on the lids to remove them but seeing as we had our semi -permanent lashes on this was impossible to do, so we had to peel them off eventually.... by hand!!!  It didn't hurt at all but just took a little longer then expected.

Try these out they are sooooo much fun and so funky!!!  We loved them!!!

Volume with rollers.

Well.... we think by this stage just about every girl in Ireland has these famous "Sleep-in Velcro Rollers" !!!!

Usually costing €20, They really have reduced massively in the past few months.
We have the traditional "pink" ones but they do come in other fabulous colours, you can even find glitter ones! Perfect for a mini weekend away!!

We bet you will find them in your local salon without any hassle but if not try CLOUD10BEAUTY!!
Again, this fantastic website provides so many  products to the ladies around Ireland and at great prices, they are definitely worth checking out.

Ok... so  to start out, make sure you spritz some mousse or volume spray in your hair when its damp! As you've seen on our previous blog.  LINK
Use the product as recommended. This is very important and we really can not emphasise enough how much it works! We like to use John Frieda Thinkening Mousse and John Frieda Volume Spray. These little bottles of luxury are gorgeous and definitely give life to flat hair! Both available from Boots.

Dry off your hair with the hairdryer and do this before you apply makeup so it gives some time for the rollers to set! When the hair is completely dry you can go ahead and place the rollers in their sections.

Here is a little demonstration on how to do so.

When they are all in place,  tie a silk scarf around your head to keep them tight! This will stop the rollers from falling out and will give that extra little bounce to the hair.

This tutorial is more for a night out but we recommend same method if you are planning to leave them in while you sleep. We have to say, it was a little uncomfortable to sleep with them at first but if you stick with it you won't even feel them after a week or so! And of course if they are left in all night your hair will look even more fabulous the next day!!

We absolutely adore our pink  rollers and take them everywhere we go, we think every girl should have them, be it short or long hair! They are an essential to looking and feeling great!!!

Vo5 have a great name for themselves in the beauty world for their amazing price- range,  high quality and results! We really wanted a new treatment for our hair to give it some lovin and loved the look of these Hot Oil Nourish Me Truly Treatments for damaged hair.
